TIMETABLE FOR ESTATE TAX RETURNS
Federal Estate Tax Return (Form 706) and State
Inheritance Tax Return due nine months from the
date of death.
Federal and State Estate Income Tax Returns (form
1041) due by the 15th day of the fourth month
after of the end of the fiscal or calendar year (choice
made on first return).
Federal and State Individual Income Tax Returns
(form 1040 ) due by April 15th of the following
year after death.
